APSオフィスによる投稿論文の文書チェック．
マイナス記号はそのまま入力（-0.5）すると，マイナスのハイフンが小さく，
ちゃんと数式記号を使って入力($-0.5$)すると，マイナスのハイフンがやや長くなる．長いハイフンの方に，アブスト中の数字は書き直されていたので，これから，注意が必要．


「ウェブ」の書き方は，「on the Web」という風に最初が大文字．「ウェブサイト」も「a type of Web site」と分けてかく．
「インターネット」も最初が大文字「by Internet service companies」．
「ベキ則」は「power laws」でいいが，「ベキ関数」は「by power-law functions」に直されていた．functionの有無による違い．冠詞は必要に応じてつける．
同様にthe power law model -> 「the power-law model」と語尾に付く場合には間にハイフン．hypothesis, decay, behaviorも．


「et al.」は斜体．


dataは複数形扱い，「The data analyzed in this study were obtained」「data show」.


文中の数字は，アラビア数字で．four -> 「4」.


日付は「November 1, 2006」シンプルに．年と日付の間はカンマ，1stとしない．


「エイプリルフール」は正式名称は「April Fools' Day」で全部最初は大文字．
単語として扱う時には括弧で「"April fool"」とするが，イベント自体の説明には斜体で「April Fool」．　


時間を表す時は，数字の桁数を合わせる．5:00 -> 「05:00」.


non なんとかの間のハイフンはスペースで．non-trivial -> 「non trivial」.


time stampにも冠詞が必要．「have a time stamp of」．


D値とかp値は D-value, p-valueではなく，「D value, p value」で，D, p は斜体．


固有名詞を表す意味での括弧書き「"fore-slopes"」は，斜体で「fore-slopes」に直されている．


語順だけの話だが，Then we approximateは「We then approximate」として，ちょっとプロっぽい感じか．


Hereの次のカンマ不要論．Here, we apply -> 「Here we apply」.


図のスケールにも冠詞が必要．「with a log-log scale」「with a linear scale」．


パーセントの後ろはくっつける，12.6 % -> 「12.6%」．同様にチルダ後方も．(~ 23.4 years) -> 「(~23.4 years) 」．
